Ruled by the god Odin , Valhalla is depicted as a grand and glorious hall with a roof made of shields, where the fallen heroes, known as the Einherjar , are brought by the Valkyries . These warriors spend their days fighting and honing their skills, and their nights feasting, in preparation for Ragnarok , the end-of-the-world battle where they are destined to fight once more. Valhalla symbolises honour, bravery, and eternal glory.
